Sette Fratelli Park

The Regional Sette Fratelli Park covers nearly sixty thousand hectares and converges on the territories of nine villages in the Sarrabus and Campidano areas, and is noted as one of the largest parks in Sardinia. The Park offers the visitor a splendid natural landscape in which forest and Mediterranean scrub alternate with granitic rocky outcrops, gorges and river valleys covered with cork trees, holm oaks and oleanders.

The mountainous of the Sette Fratelli Park, the massif of Monte Genis and Serpeddì and soar up to a thousand feet high, and here  you can observe some animal species of great naturalistic value, including the Sardinian deer, wild cats, martens and if you are lucky enough, and looking up, even golden eagles and peregrine falcons.

For its natural beauty, the Park is one of the preferred destinations for hikers, and along the paths of the park will find refreshment and service stations, parking and restrooms.It can be reached along the State Route 125 in the direction of Muravera, turning off at the S'Arcu Tidu pass.
